Good Advice from Make A Wish Recipient

He's only 14 but "Make A Wish" recipient Austin, a Lincoln Southwest High School student, knows about overcoming challenges. Austin was born with Cerebral Palsy, but he learned to walk by the third grade and today took a special ride in a helicopter. Besides his brother Ryan, Austin flew with former Nebraska football player Jason Peter, who presented Austin with some autographed Husker gear. Peter said people think athletes are the Gladiators, but it's people like Austin who are the real heroes.

Midwest Medical Transport Co. Company donated the two tickets for the ride to the Nebraska Heart Institute Heart Hospital who raffled them off with all donations going to the Make a Wish Foundation. Midwest Medical Transport company, based out of Columbus landed its new Husker helicopter at the hospital this morning.

Plus Austin gets to take part in the Husker football team's tunnel walk tomorrow and enjoy the game hosting Virginia Tech from a sky box at Memorial Stadium.

Austin told KFOR News his best advice is just keep going. And he thinks the Huskers will blow out the Hokies!
