Midwest Medical Transport Co. was established in Columbus, NE in 1987. The Columbus station has been and continues to be our corporate head quarters. The station is located at 2155-33rd Ave, a central location which ensures a quick and efficient response to both emergency and non-emergency calls. These calls consist of Specialty Care Transportation, Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support. We do stand-by services such as Columbus Horse Racing, car racing, area sporting events and many other special events. This two-story building was finished in January of 2000. It consists of a 4 bay garage and dispatching center on the first level, with corporate offices, a newly expanded billing department and living quarters on the second level. The EMS staff in Columbus have many years combined experience in emergency medical service. All of our EMT's and Paramedics take pride in our patient care. We have a great rapport with our local facilities as well as area communities. We also offer our professional services to area hospitals such as Osceola, Genoa, Schuyler and Albion. All of our stations make short and long distance transfers, both in and out of the state. The Columbus station is managed by our Operation's Manager, Robyne Beck. Robyne has been with Midwest Medical Transport Co. for over 13 years. She has been in EMS for fifteen and a Paramedic for 10 years. .
