North Platte Station is conveniently located in heart of west-central Nebraska, North Platte, where personnel are only 5 minutes away from Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
The station primarily services North Platte, Ogallala, Valentine, McCook, Gothenburg, Grant and Imperial, along with covering all of Western Nebraska. The majority of runs at the North Platte station are long distance with patient contact for 2 to 4 hours.
Most runs terminate in the closest metropolitan areas of Lincoln, Omaha or Denver, but we are willing to transport anywhere an ambulance can travel too. The station is currently equipped with two brand new units with state-of-the-art equipment inside including an Eagle Univent Ventilator, Zoll Monitor-Defibrillators and DVD players for patient comfort.
MMTC-NP also has a monthly training program to ensure all employees stay completely current with on-going medical advancements. These training sessions are open to fellow EMS professionals to assist in keeping continuing education hours current.
Future plans in North Platte include the construction of a new facility at the Interstate 80 and Hi-way 83 interchange and the development of the areas first neonatal transfer team.
