Dispatch
Our Centralized Dispatch Center is located
at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbus, Nebraska.
Utilizing a centralized Call Center, we are able to
efficiently and quickly dispatch calls for all ten of our
Stations. Our system enables our dispatchers to have
accurate and up to the minute information as to the location
and availability of each and every unit, as well as all
medical personnel, allowing for prompt response times. Our
dispatch center is available 24 hours a day for your
convenience and may be contacted at 1-1-800-562-3396.
Basic Life Support
Ambulance Service
Basic Life Support ambulances provide basic
patient care, basic airway management, orthopedic care,
patients with pre-existing IV solutions and patient
monitored medication pumps.
Advanced Life Support
ALS ambulances provide significantly more
advanced skills such as in-depth patient assessments,
cardiac monitoring and evaluation, defibrillation and
cardioversion, advanced airway maintenance such as
intubation, drug administration and much more.
Air Team Transport
Midwest Medical provides ground service
for specialty teams from air transport to local
hospitals for organ retrieval and transplant services as
well as ground service for patients from Air transport
teams.
Rural and Volunteer
Intercept Service
MMTC works closely with rural and
volunteer rescue units to provide ALS intercept service
as the need arises. We also provide BLS and ALS standby
services to assist rural and volunteer rescue
departments for special circumstances (natural
disasters, etc.) that may arise in surrounding
communities.
Disaster Recovery
Plans
Midwest Medical is
available to serve as emergency medical transport to
facilities requiring contracted services for their
in-house Disaster Recovery Plans.
Special Event
Standbys
MMTC also provides standbys for your special
events. We provide either BLS or ALS ambulances for events
including sporting events, concerts, rodeos, horse racing,
car races, company events and many more.
